Kim Vidaurri is a Fort Worth based singer-songwriter whose emotive and soulful voice augments her thoughtfully written songs and equally introspective lyrics. Her style is roots based and shares similarities with such artists as The Sundays, Over the Rhine and Sarah McLachlan. She began singing publicly at the age of sixteen which bred in her a passion for music. Through the years, Kim had the opportunity to serve in several bands playing in churches, colleges and coffeehouses. In addition to her having been featured on several recordings as a backup singer, she has been writing her own material for several years. She and her band are presently and locally performing a series of concerts which feature an intimate and retreated assortment of selections from her newly released CD entitled This. Kim resides with her husband Jon of ten years and their daughter Madeline.
